Honda Northstar

1st Conversion to Market on The Honda

The VMI Honda Northstar wheelchair-accessible minivan delivers both space and style with generous headroom, more floor length and a top-rated design. The ramp is stowed below the floor, offering a clean, obstacle-free interior and greater safety in the event of a collision. The Honda Northstar is a premium wheelchair conversion van providing industry-best flexibility, ease of use and functional aesthetics. The Honda Northstar in-floor ramp conversion is a perfect blend of performance, safety and style, making it an excellent option for both manual and power chair users

Auto Ramp

All VMI Honda Northstar conversions come with a patented, ultra-low, in-floor power ramp that allows for safe entry and exit for even the largest power chairs. The ramp is stowed under the floor, creating more interior room for maneuverability and minimizing dirt and debris in the interior.

Removable Front Seats

Easy-to-remove front seats create multiple seating options for greater independence and flexibility.  The Honda Northstar allows for multiple mobility devices to be on the move at the same time. Also having angled front-seat-base design provides three additional inches of usable floor length for rear-seated wheelchair passengers.

A Quieter Ride

Engineered to minimize interior noise with extensive use of sound-deadening materials.

Standard Foot Rest

A fold-down footrest offers additional comfort for passengers sitting on the rear bench.

Step Flares

Color-matched step flares have a 400-pound capacity and assist entry and exit on both the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle.

Corrosion Resistant Floor

All Honda Northstar conversion floors are E-coated for optimal rust and corrosion prevention.

Headroom

The Honda Northstar features a 12.8-inch dropped floor provides ample headroom throughout the vehicle.
